Service Description

Learn some of the fundamental & foundational aspects of the rich and deep practice of yoga. The class will be a mix of exploring key yoga poses known as 'asanas', yogic breathing techniques (pranayama), mudra (hand gestures), mantras (a tool used to focus the mind), & short meditations & relaxation. You'll be fully guided and given lots of options, the class will be slow & focused with time for reflections, questions & sharing. Yoga can help us build strength and resilience in our body and mind and can guide us in to leading a better quality of life. More whole, more content, & more being instead of doing. That's part of the point of doing yoga is to gain flexibility, & not just in body. Block booking is £36 for the 6 weeks or £7.50 for weekly drop-in. 6 weeks block booking starts on Friday 11th April - Friday 16th May You'll need to be able to get up and down from the floor and you'll need a yoga mat & if you have any yoga props like bricks or blocks bring those along too.
