my story

My yoga practice started around 25 years ago and I eventually embarked upon my first teacher training 2018 with Chris Jackson of Yoga Therapies where I completed the 200hrs YTT in Vinyasa Yoga Therapeutics.  I had been a qualified fitness instructor teaching group exercise classes  since 2005 so I had plenty of hours and experience of delivering group sessions to a huge diverse range of people.  I have also completed training in Yoga Nidra, Meditation and courses in Yin Yoga, Somatics, Yoga Adjusts, Yogi Flight School Training as ongoing CPD.

I stepped in to guiding people on their Yoga journey towards the end of my YTT in 2018 as well as delivering fitness classes.  In more recent years the Yoga has taken priority and fitness a bit of a back seat.  That's been a natural shift for me, where yoga has been my focus and priority.  I also have a love for exploring free-form movement and ecstatic dance and put on special Nurture Your Soul Events which include dance based practices, meditations, yoga nidra & Yin Yoga with Sound Baths.  

It is a blessing to have something so amazing in my life and the benefits, physically, mentally and spiritually that yoga brings me have been nothing short of amazing.

It's been a tough ride too though, nothing worth doing is usually easy yeh........

ps. be warned it's a bit waffly and long-winded but I'm sharing from the heart and I love a good ramble.
